Daniel is the CEO of Obsidian Group and CIO of Onyx Strategic Partners. Daniel started out as a real estate broker, and his company has transacted on millions of square feet over his career and acquired roughly 500,000 square feet. He currently runs a real estate investment fund focused on small-bay industrial acquisitions around the Twin Cities, with an eye toward rapid expansion. Onyx Strategic Partners is a construction and development firm owned in conjunction with his wife, Jessie Houlihan, and partner Brad Heitzinger at Obsidian Group. Daniel believes that building long-term partnerships with people who want to outwork the rest of the market and who are ethically aligned is what allows the team to outperform its competition.
